Level 10 will introduce the Python Turtle library to TIME 2 CODE. This new level will follow the much-loved format of three learning programs (alphabet, nine dot puzzle, artist) and six practice programs (logo, vacuum cleaner, constellation, castle, racing turtles, spirograph).
All the commands identified in the Edexcel Programming Language Subset document are included, which is great if you are studying the 1CP2 course, and if not, although you won't need to know Turtle commands for exams, they are fun exercises to have a go at towards the end of the summer term in year 10.
This is not the end of the Python course. We have plans to extend it to Level 11 - Databases & SQL, Level 12 - Objects and Records, Level 13 - Interfaces. With more projects planned too.
